I was born and grew up in Tallapoosa County; I graduate from Dadeville High School and entered Auburn University.  Prior to graduation from Auburn, I spent two years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and then graduated from Auburn in 1961 with a degree in Agricultural Economics and Business.  I worked in the Agri-business field for 38 years in sales and sales management and retired in 1999.  My wife, Nancy, and I have been married for 47 years; we have 3 children and 12 grandchildren.  After retirement, we moved to Topsail Island, NC.  I entered the real estate business there, aftere getting my sales and broker's license.  Selling beach property was nice, but Lake Martin kept calling; so, in 2004 we came "home" to the lake.  Instead of looking at the Atlantic Ocean when we awake, we now look at Lake Martin; I truly believe it is prettier and life is less hectic on the lake.

Nancy and I have lived in most of the Southeastern states, but Memphis was the fartherest North and West that we have lived.  We have bought 14 homes in these states and I believe that, through these experiences, I know what most people are looking for and expect of a REALTORŪ.
